At 3:36 AM, Litudinem Police received a phone call reporting that a suspicious person had been apparently casing or surveying the Senate Building for the past 4 hours. Two Litudinem City police officers approached him at 3:40 AM asking him "is everything ok?" The man then reportedly rushed one officer with his bare fists but was quickly incapacitated, cuffed, and is now in police custody. No one was injured in the scuffle.
Police have since found an assault rifle and combat knife in the suspect's car parked nearby. It is unknown if he actually intended to use them and, if so, what his intended target was. His motives are unknown at this time.
In response to this event, 15 extra service-men have been deployed on and around the premises of the Senate building to insure the safety of our legislative branch.
