During a public address made yesterday, President Lucas Brown announced that he would be visiting the nation of Lauchenoiria at some point in the coming weeks. He also stated his intentions to talk directly with Prime Minister of Lauchenoiria, Josephine Alvarez, during said trip. Brown stated that he would use the meeting to "feel things out with Alvarez and establish a working relationship." He also made it clear that he would be looking to make it abundantly clear to Alvarez that Libertas Omnium Maximus would be there to support Lauchenoiria and its interests. This will likely be the first visit in Brown's anticipated final tour abroad before the 2020 elections. Accordingly, sources say his trip will be benign and not in reaction to any particular event. "He is about to go into an intense election season and he will want to have talked things over with neighboring nation's leaders before going in." stated former Presidential Manor Chief of Staff, Alexandra Laurens, in an interview with the Litudinem Herald. She went on to say, "Having a very accurate idea of your allies' agendas can help perfect your platform." Most politicians agree that a successful meeting between these two heads of state will be essential for opening lines of dialogue between Lauchenoiria and Libertas Omnium Maximus.
