Van'a Kamoni killed by Zamastanian Forces

Early this morning the illusive Malravian Liberation Front Leader, V'ana Kamoni, the primary orchestrator of the January 2nd attacks, was killed by Zamastanian forces in Monza, Vulkaria. This event marks the culmination of two months of intense fighting between groups of allied Vulkarian Communist extremists and an international coalition of counter-insurgents.

Zamastanian intelligence reportedly located Kamoni's compound in Monza, dispatched a team of thirty Zamastanian Special Forces operators to the site, and eliminated the terrorist leader flawlessly. They noted that the compound was not even particularly well protected, with only a half dozen Malravian Liberation Front guards present.

President Brown was quick to applaud the team's precision saying: "We can all take a lesson from those brave Zamastanians... They remained cool and calm under immense pressure and carried out their mission flawlessly." Brown went on to state: "My only regret regarding the entire operation was that I was not there to personally put a bullet in that wretched thing's head. Regardless, this is a huge victory for the coalition and a huge victory for the people of Vulkaria."

Kamoni's death has undoubtedly struck the MLF a dire blow but what remains to be seen is who will replace Kamoni as the leader of the Malravian Liberation Front and if they will be able to recover the organization from the actions of last night.
